Aperture
In class i took pictures of playing cards, bottles of paint, and black blocks on a white platform and background. In my opinion this is the best picture of the three because the object in front (red paint tube) and the cards in the middle are not in focus only the yellow tube of paint is in focus. To get a large depth of feel we set the camera to a small aperture, and to get a small depth of feel the camera had a large aperture. you would want to use a shallow depth of field when you want to focus on one object in your picture. You would use a large depth when you want everything in the picture to be in focus

Space
My photos for the out of class assignment were all taken outside. The first picture uses framing. The frame is created by the ground, the two trees on the side and the bottom of the bridge. It frames the mountains and trees in the background. the second picture uses leading lines through the stairs. My Third picture focus on foreground middle ground, and background with the ground, trees and sky. All three of the pictures have a large depth of feel, and a large amount of space.
